Aims and Ideals of ANANDA MARGA EDUCATION

  1. To further national integration by introducing uniform curricula and syllabi and a common medium of instruction for the whole country.
  2. To impart non-sectarian and non-dogmatic moral instruction in education so as to encourage advancement of universal, moral and spiritual values.
  3. To give a sufficient scientific and technical basis to education so that intellectual and social renaissance of the whole world may be helped, Ananda Marga Schools are run under strict missionary control of proprietary nature by Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. The administrative control is exercised by the Ananda Marga Gurukula, Anandanagar, while the executive control is exercised by the Education wing of ERAWS.
  4.  Education is a sincere and disciplined endeavour to link the mind with the self. That is why ‘‘Sa’ Vidya’ Ya’ Vimuktaye’’-Knowledge for liberation-physical, intellectual and spiritual.

Academic Session

Terms –
The School academic year is divided into three terms.
1st Term-   April
2nd Term – August
Annual –   November

Vacations-
The School has three short vacations for Puja, Summer and Winter.

 Promotion-

Promotion to a higher class depends upon –

  • Regularity in attendance.
  • Quality of day-to-day participation in the class.
  • Written work and task assigned by the subject teacher.
  • A Progress report is sent to Parents/Guardians after every major exam. Parents/Guardians are requested to sign the progress report and return it within 3 days of the issue, except after the announcement of the annual results. Seek the science of the maker and not that of the made.
